olive garden

you might have thought was a safe place to be with 2 children - but it is not. Chris & I were out running some errands this afternoon & we decided to stop off at the olive garden for an early dinner with the kids - bad idea, very bad idea. After we had sat down at our table & had been there only about 10 minutes, all chaos broke loose. Chase colored on the table, went under the table, picked up a dirty knife off the floor & started banging on the table, & on & on & on. When our dinner finally arrived all was quiet for a few minutes...

"EEEEEKKKKKKK!!!" goes Ellison

"ha ha.. EEEEKKKKKK!!! goes Chase

"ha ha.. EEEEKKKKK!! goes Ellison

etc., etc., etc. on & on & on...

The two of them like to play what I call the "screaming game"& they think is SOOOO super funny. One of them starts screaming & shaking their head back & forth until the other one does it, then the other one does it, then the other one does it... AAAHHHHHH!!!
This went on & on in the restaurant until not only the cute couple next to us had stopped to stare but also the table of grandparents with their grandchildren & the birthday party of 16. Needless to say, we got out of there in a hurry after that & left Chris to pay the bill:) Why we torture ourselves by taking them out to eat I will never know....

cleaning Jack

"mommy, mommy, mommy, help!" was all we heard from the laundry room yesterday from Chase's little friend, Jack.

"where is Chase?" I immediately asked. Oh no, missing....

I go over to find him in the laundry room with Jack up against the wall. Chase had the entire bottle of Oxy Clean in his hand & was hosing down his friend, Jack, who had come to visit.. well, at least his clothes will be clean:)

(he he - this one really makes me laugh - I think he has the timing a little bit wrong:)

3. I overheard Chase talking to his friend on the phone..

"hey Dru, this is a really great house, do you want to come over?"

4. "you zipped up my we-we!" ....as I was trying to zip up his pants after he used the bathroom - OOPS!

5. AAAAHHHHH! We heard from the other room when my friend Lori & her son Dru were over. As we rounded the corner we found Chase already in his time-out chair. I guess he figured there was no way getting out of it this time...

6. "Is that where my daddy lives?" (pointing to the hospital as we passed by)

"yes, Chase, that is where your daddy lives" :) ha ha!
