so.. yes, I am a little bit obsessed with photography lately. It is like my new found hobby. In college I lived in Italy for a semester & took 5 months of it but of course, that was a LONG time ago! I bought a new lens yesterday that should be here tomorrow. I know it sounds dorky, but I am really excited! Hopefully that should help w/ some of my pictures - we'll see!

I went to order my new camera lens from Amazon & after I placed my order they sent me a confirmation. At the bottom of the email confirmation was a "reccomended for you" section & front & center was "The Strong Willed Child" by James Dobson. Thank you Dr. Dobson, I will be ordering your book immediately.

the exhibitionist is back

I have heard of some people's children taking their clothes off in bed when they sleep, but seriously, every night?? We have been through this before & it is not pretty. Pretty much every night now we go into Chase's room & he is found passed out in his birthday suit in his bed. There is a picture above of how I found him after his nap this week - underwear on his head!!! Boys!!!

My neighbhor, Melissa, was over playing this week. Her son, Colin, & Chase had locked themselves in the bathroom & she went to see what the commotion was about. She reported back that Chase had put his "potty seat" on his head & called it his hat. Later on when I took him to the bathroom, I went to put his seat back on the toilet he said..

1. " I don't want to use my "helmet" this time!" - OOHH, GROSS!

my funny friends...

so.. I am hosting a baby shower with some friends next week & here are the emails that I got today about the shower..I know that I have said before that my friends are funny but this is absolutely histerical...

LindsEy (she is the one we are hosting the shower for): "Hey ladies - I have whats probably a weird question. I have a friend at work that would like to come to the shower. Can I invite her? She's a really good friend that I would've invited but didn't because she'shelping throw me one up here at work...but then she said she'd like to come anyway. She doesn't eat a lot. Let me know."

Hope: "well, as long as she does not eat a lot then it is probably fine. Does she take up a lot of space though??"

LindsAy:"yeah i guess it's ok, i would say i too am concerned about the space factor. we can have a plate...a small plate that is, of food for her and perhaps she can stand in the corner and eat that while sipping her alloted 2oz of wine...i know lindsey we are being very generous but hey, that's what friends are for:)"

LindsEy:"how about the bathroom? she can eat in there. we'll just leave the door cracked so she can hear what's going on. If anyone has to go to the bathroom, they can just use Chase's PUP."
